2 Drafts need homes Empty
PostSubject: 2 Drafts need homes   2 Drafts need homes EmptyMon Aug 23, 2010 4:41 pm

Please pass along. I need to find these nice horses some nice homes. Prices are negotiable, home is more important. Both are at the same stable in San Luis Obispo and are in training with me.

Rocket, one of the sweetest temperments, I've ever met. Has become very mellow, while retaining his sensitive nature. Would be great for natural horsemanship, trail, dressage, or a ren faire horse. He is a 17.2 hd gentle giant who is easy to have a wonderful relationship with. Truly loves spending his time with people.

Fiona, dreamhorse photo doesn't do her justice, she is a very talented/athlectic dressage prospect, trot is so lofty without even trying, it can be hard to ride. I've only known her for a short time, but she seems to have great potential, if brought along thoughtfully and not rushed. She could get anxious if a person dominated her or made her feel claustrophobic, but in the right hands she would be a treasure. Supposedly was evented, but acts like a green horse comfortable with being ridden, just not with being rushed into a "frame" without a thorough foundation--which I'm guessing happened to her.

I am driving my own 2 horses out to Florida to study with Karen Rohlf on 9/12, so it would be great if prospective buyers came to see the horses above ASAP. They can be seen after that with my assistant, but I may not be in town after that except when I'm hosting the Dressage Naturally Clinic in San Luis Obispo 9/27-9/30. Although Fiona may return to So Cal at the beginning of September. Thanks for looking these guys deserve a good future.
